Jean-Philippe Delhomme’s “New York” Comes to Paris

Jean-Philippe Delhomme‘s “New York,” an exhibition featuring original gouache paintings from his New York Travel Book, recently published by Louis Vuitton, opened this evening in presence of the artist at the Galerie Martel. It also happened to be the Little Miss’ first ever art opening, though she had to stay outside (next to Delhomme himself) as her Bugaboo was just a bit too bulky to fit into the crowded room.

Delhomme is a fashion and design favourite, having worked with brands like Maison Kitsuné, Barneys New York, Le Bon Marché, Ligne Roset, and Sotheby’s, as well as publications like Vogue Paris, GQ Magazine, W Magazine, The New Yorker and Departures. His portrait of Karl Lagerfeld is a well-known classic.

This bicycle would be perfect for a children’s bedroom and a great way to start an art collection for them!

Another good one for the kiddies.

Love this last one. If you can’t make the exhibition look for Delhomme’s publications: The Unknown Hipster Diaries and The Cultivated Life.

Jean-Philippe Delhomme at the Galerie Martel, 17 rue Martel, 75010, Paris. M° Château d’Eau. Tél: 42 46 35 09. May 3rd to June 8th.
